Tivoli Terrace, in Laguna Beach was a beautiful setting for Josh and Joelle's vow renewal and reception. The quaint garden has a French Country style and the upper terrace offers a picture-perfect area that is nestled into the Laguna Canyon. Josh and Joelle's family and friends enjoyed a night of fine dinning, and dancing that made for a complete family uniting night. Our blessings to the bride and groom, as they head to Indiana, where they plan to call home.

Josh & Joelle Engagment

Josh and Joelle were refereed to me by a friend that I work with at DC. We meet in San Clemente to discuss the details of how they envisioned photo's for their engagement and wedding. I really liked their story, and knew that my style of photography would be a good fit. While Josh was away at war Joelle saved up money to buy him this amazing 1972 Chevelle Malibu, they both explained how the car was a significant part of their life, and wanted to incorporate it into the photo shoot.

Gymkhana Two

I recently went to the port of Los Angeles for the premiere of Gymkhana Two. Eric came up with me to checkout the event. Ken Block was giving selected guests ride alongs in the Subaru. Towards the end of evening everyone grouped by the Monster bar and the movie was projected in the warehouse. The movie was amazing, it is going to hit the web for the public on Monday so check the blog to see the new video. If you don't know what Gymkhana is all about watch the video on this post, turn your speakers up and enjoy!
Research

I have been doing some research on WW2, post WW2 1950'era for a recent photo shoot. I shot the photo's last weekend in an old apartment in down town San Diego. Researching this time period of pin up girls, soldier's, and old cars reminded me of my grand parents. My grandmother who lived with me from birth until I was fifteen was a RN Lieutenant. My grandfather was a photographer in the war and between the two I have amazing photo's from this era, that I restored and put together in an album a couple years ago. Checkout a few photos from the album. Enjoy
Can't wait for the day.....
to inherit some of the fine skills my pops has acquired throughout the years of his life. Outside of how hard of a worker he is and how crafty he is with the tools of his trade, that dood can fall asleep anywhere at anytime. Today he was helping me move a couch and decided to show off this refined trait.
Thanks for the help this weekend pops HA!
Ride BMX

I was recently involved in shooting a ground breaking advertising campaign for our BMX division. This ad was the first of its kind in the world of BMX. Markus shot the action and I shot the portraits. Id' like to thank all of the athletes and Eric for all their hard work and shredding. I can't wait to see what we do next. Check out the video!
John & Stephanie

John and Stephanie had a beautiful wedding on the beach in La Jolla. The day started out with a little San Diego marine layer, but luckily for us an hour before the wedding the sun broke through. John and Stephanie were a wonderful couple to work for, both sides of the family were a treat to be around. The attention to detail and unique touches really made their photo's great. Thanks for letting us be part of your day and best of luck.
